BLOG 4_WEEK 6_YOUR FAVORITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

 


I believe that my favorite piece of technology is my phone. I bought a new cellphone 1 year ago because the one which I had was old and also had screen problems so I decided to change.

Since I have a phone, I use it every day, for example, to wake up on time, I put the alarm clock on the phone or when I go running I like to listen to music so I just take my phone and the earbuds and I am ready to go. Also, I use my phone to chat with some friends or call someone. 

I think that cellphone makes a little bit more comfortable life, everything is faster and easier as well phones are multifunctional, I mean if you aren´t at home or in the office and you have to answer important mail you can do it on your phone or if you want to have fun you can download some games or watch movies/series so that is why I like phones.

Now in my opinion living without a phone, It could be such a hard thing but not impossible.

   Hi everyone Today I’m going to write about PubMed which is a website where you can find some scientific documents related to our major, but it is not all about our major, because we can find some essays regarding other areas like medicine, kinesiologist or even nutrition. Recently I haven’t looked up the page because I haven’t needed it, but normally I visit the page to do some university homework and essays. I like this site because is useful when you need some trusting information. Also on this site, you can download the document, and then when you don’t have internet access you can read it and the most important thing is that you don’t have to pay to get the documents. The only bad thing about the website is that maybe you must learn how to quote correctly to search for what you want but is not a big deal.  I recommend the page to everyone who likes to do some researches about the health field because they can find a lot of helpful documents to work with and compare...

BLOG 3_WEEK 5_THE STORY OF A PHOTOGRAPH

  This photo is one of my favorites because everything was fine, I mean is that kind of remembering when you have peace and happiness. Well, this photo is about my summer vacation this year when I visited my babysitter (Who is a very important person to me). She lives in Santa Barbara which is a little town in the eighth region of Chile. This trip was pretty cool because I went with my mum, brother, and niece. During this travel we ate a lot of delicious food, I slept a lot which I needed, and we visited some places over there. In that place nature is wonderful, and we had a lot of things to do but my favorite activity was that day when we visited a dam which is called “Central hidroelectrica de Ralco” That day we woke up earlier and we went to the river, then we went to a restaurant and finally we visited the dam. That photo was taken by my babysitter, and like I said I love it because was a relaxing day with no problems

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS CAREER/STUDY PROGRAMME?

  Well in the first place when I was a little kid, I always love the healthcare field and I like to help people, so I decided to study medicine. But when I grew up I realized that there are more careers associated with the healthcare field like kinesiologist or dentistry but I always wanted medicine. Then when I do the PDT, I don’t get enough points to enter medicine but I got the points to choose dentistry. Until now my experience at the university is nice, I like it because I meet new people, but I have to be more organized with my time. Regarding the future, I am not sure about a specialty but obviously, I want to improve my knowledge of dentistry, and if I can I would like to open my clinic.
